I met someone here a couple of months ago. We went out on our first date on the 12th of February.

What I want to do is send her flowers on the 12th of this month. Just to kinda mark the occasion. May sound kinda corny, but hey...lol

The thing is...I want to avoid roses because they seem kinda cliche to me. I don't like to do things within the " norm ". I mean, I took her to a rock concert for our first date. Not exactly ' inside the box ' thinking.

I need some suggestions from the ladies on what kind of flowers they would like to get for something like that.

I would prefer a simple type of arrangement.

I don't think it matters...I like all flowers. But spring is just around the corner, so a nice bouquet of spring flowers maybe?

First of all....AWWWWWWWWW! Nicely done, sir!
Secondly.....keep it simple. If the two of you hit it off, whatever catches your eye would probably catch hers!

Sunflowers are always nice, They make really pretty ones that are a deep orange, with a tad of a purple tint. They are unique.

Wow I am so happy for you congratulations.

I think it really depends on her personality. I mean I am also a person that don't go into roses very much. I love the simple bouquets of wildflowers or daisy's.
I think I would find out her favorite colors, talk to the florist where you are ordering them. If you are talking a bout a bigger budget Orchids are awesome and unique.

Ok, so you want to STAY out of the box.......hmmmmm, lemme think. I have an idea! Take her someplace, ya know, a day trip or something. Get her some offbeat flower's(ask the florist, A GOOD ONE). Buy a map and mark where you're going to take her. Wrap the flower's in the map instead of the normal paper. Does that idea suck???? HOpe not. Good luck, Shoe's.

Someone told me about orchids too. I like the idea....but I figure I'll hold on to that one for marking 6 months if we make it that long. lol

It would take some planning to do that due to her having children. But that is a really good idea, too.

And it's definitely ' out of the box ' so that makes it that much better.

Thanks.blushing

I looked at some arrangements online...but for some reason...a lot of them seem to be a little bit too...busy....for my tastes.

Simple is good.
