Tx, I have no regrets for the mistakes I've made, they made me who I am
today, and I kinda like me! Every bad time I've gone through has made me
stronger. Nothing has been able to hurt me bad enough to keep me down,
not even getting run over by a car! Took me a few months to get back on
my feet from that one, but not as long as some of the emotional hurts.
But even those heal. Just have a few scars to show for it, but I'm even
proud of those!

I do hear you for myself no regrets for my life or the way things have
been for each step that we learn from makes us stronger. Never dwell
upon the past just look forward towards the future. And take the things
we have learned and keep going forward.

Another person can't make you happy, they can make you happier, or make
you feel it more, but you have to have the happiness inside to work
with. And you can't make someone else be happy, I spent too many years
trying to do that.

I Love that Auburn..that sums it up for me. In my life, I have never
regreted loving anyone whether it happened slow or fast. I believe
giving and receiving on all levels is what that is about...lust is not
love and infatuation is not love either. As we mature we learn more
about love and avoid the pitfalls...but the risk of meeting people and
developing love for someone is the greatest experience in life...hands
down. I can't moralize to anyone about speed or risk...just hope that
your journey brings you love; laughter and lessons.

Well, I've already posted 2 or 3 times on this topic, but it's a good
one, and I don't think I really answered the op question.

I don't think there is a set answer to this question. Love has it's own
timetable. It can take 5o years or 5 minutes. I don't think it's a
problem of too fast so much as too often. People who "fall in love" with
someone new every time the wind blows have no idea what love really is.
That is lust or infatuation, or just being afraid of being alone. But it
has nothing to do with love.
