thats true lulu and that is also why every state in the us is getting
rid of the ability for a parent to file statutory rape charges; because
so many parents with a 16 y/o daughter finds out sheis sexuallt active
with her 18 y/o boyfriend whom they do not like, and they file stat
charges against him, even though in all reality it was consentual. The
states are changingit to where the state da is the one that can file
those charges andnot the parents, in order to try and take into account
highschool romances and such.

well.. first of all i think there are a lot of unknown circumstances
here... first how do you knwo what he has been convicted of? if you
really do want to know if you know their names you can type in sex
preadators or pedofiles * sp* in google and you'll get a link to wher
you can go and look them up , because they have to notify when they move
and see what type of conviction , plus was this girl like 17 and she
lied to him or was it like she was 10 or something like that... then
from the mother's point of view it is hard when a woman is looking for
someone to love her, she may put her children behind the man when
looking for love, sometimes love blinds us and we try to tell ourselves
people can change because to some they can, but i think she needs to
wisen up but being a bad mom is going a little far.. i think were all
making assumptions based on the small amount of info here. and my
advice is if the creator of this thread is really concerned then they
could try going to social services and asking them about what your
options are as a friend because legally there isn't much you can do
about it until they do, do something to the children.. so my advice.. go
to social service, or a child abuse place and explain it because
anything you get here is just peoples opinions its not really going to
help you

i'm not positive on this but i don't think you can report someone for
merely dating ... or ? leaving? her kids with someone that has a
conviction like that unless they are not allowed to be around
children....

you can report for just about anything...whether they do anything or not
will be up to the investigator.
