how do you get money to pay for it, when no body will give you it, or
let you borrow it, and you don't get paid until after it is due?

A girl from my shop got tossed in the slammer today for ignoring her
tickets. Fees for an arrest warrant can be a hundred or two hundred
bucks if you don't make arrangements with the court for an extension.
Much better to go see the judge.

Another option is to ask for a trial by jury. Then they can ask you to
come back for court at a later date. In the interim you can simply pay
the fine when you have enough money.

all you have to do is ask for the extension tell them what the reason is
and they will give you the extension.

OR you pay a lawyer like I did, to represent you, and get out of it
completely.

If your guilty, see the judge & get an extension on paying.
Broke the law, accept the penalty.
Please don't get an attorney & play that game.
Attorney's getting guilty peopel off part of the problem in this
country.
don't do the crime, if you can't do the time.

Fully understand it is a when you get paid thing.
Treat judge w/respect & he will do same for you, usually.

Actually if you check with the laws in your state some states if you go
in and take probation or take the driver class you will pay the ticket
take approx 60 days probation or the driving course and the ticket will
not be on your record at all. In Texas they do offer this depends on
each state. No need for a lawyer and you know first hand it has been
taken care of. As far as the probation goes the requirements are not to
get another ticket within that time. Then the ticket will never go on
your record. If you do hire a lawyer just make sure they do take care of
it for in any case if they do not and it has happen before as far as the
laws goes it does not matter what proof you have that you hired a lawyer
they will not take it in to consideration. So either way just make sure
it is taken care of you can call the courts to verify what that the
lawyer did indeed take care of the ticket in hand.bigsmile

One Question~~she doesn't have the money to pay the ticket, how is she
going to pay for the lawyer?

That is why I said go to the courts for they will do the extensions as
long as you go talke to them have seen were they did not have to put
anything down. All they are asking is that you at least make knowledge
of the ticket with the intent to take care of it they will work with
you. But if you let it go in to a warrant the ticket willl double if not
more.
