Need to get a clue
Woman calls 911 3 times over McNuggets Fla. police say she called emergency number 3 times after store runs out The Associated Press updated 9:19 p.m. ET, Tues., March. 3, 2009 FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets. A police report says 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out. She says she was refused a refund and told all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate. "This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one," Goodman told police, according to The Stuart News. "This is an emergency." Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn't be found. A McDonald's spokesman says Goodman should have been given a refund, and she's being sent a gift card for a free meal. |

that is insane. the sad thing is....that idiot would have tied up the cops and operators with her non-sense and they wouldn't be able to help the ones that really need it
she could actually get in trouble for that....hope she does and learns her lesson |

I was cussed out once by a little old lady because the weather channel had the wrong temperature posted on their map for our city!! OH, TO BE A FLY ON THE WALL WHERE YOU WORK!!! I'll bet you DO get some major dooooozies!!! Sometimes we hear on the news about 911 ops not taking a certain situation seriously, but I CAN SEE THAT HAPPENING and making for a troublesome situation!! |

Oh, I agree. I mean, yeah, Ronald should've given her the money back but to call 911 over it? That's just blowing things a little out of proportion to the problem. Drugs or alcohol involved, I'd hazard a guess.

Talk about a dedicated customer, nothing but the McNuggets would do (processed meats)
Just glad there wasn't a real emergency elsewhere. |

Can you imagine getting that irate about McNuggets? I mean, it's not even food (as far as I'm concerned).

they were just talking about this in the news a few minutes ago, it looks like she had already paid for the mcnuggets, when the employee came back and said that they were out, she wanted her money back. the employee said that she couldn't have her money back, but she would have to just pick something else in the same price range. she didnt want anything else, just her money back. mcdonalds is giving her the money back along with a certificate for a free meal.
