Well. at first I blew the circuit. So I changed out the circuit breakers. Hope you are sitting down this might take a while.  Then I put in this fancy pressure switch with this cute little handle. Since my water wasn't working I thought the pipes had frozen up and just hadn't broken, yet. Because when I had took off the air pressure gauge I was getting air and water. So when I got back with the switch I noticed the water was flowing freely. Foreshadowing back that is should have been where I should have left well enough alone. But, no. I had to pull that cute little handle. And that is when the lights went out. I went to hardware store today because a friend had told me it might be the large capacitor in the control box between the pump and the pressure switch. I told him about the pressure switch with the cute little handle I bought there and he told me that it was just a safety device. Which thinking back it probably was because if I hadn't pulled it I might have had time to figure out that I had the pressure switch wired up wrong. See the old wiring before the pump guy rewired everything I knew how to do but the pump guy used different colored wiring and he told me later that the center wires were hot and the outside wires were not hot. To make a long story short it works now.
That's why I hire a plumber. hehe |

After a month without water I finally got it fixed today. Yay. "Praise The Lord", to quote my mom. I am so happy. Its the little things sometimes that can just make your day.
Isn't it amazing how we take things for granted until we don't have them anymore? Glad you got your water back, now you can waste all that time you were taking to lug laundry and water somewhere else!

Oh, yeah. Then the ice storm came with the big limbs falling on the power line to the well pump. Electric company said that you need an electrician but left the power on anyways. So I got this rope holding the power line to the pole without a weather head that is connected to the outside breaker box that is in front of the electric meter. It sounds like you are due for some good news!

Hi Carold Did you have a good day? My daughter and I had to get our licence stickers renewed for the cars. This has been her first time out since Friday. It was crazy busy and it kind of set her back.Now she tells me she has this floating feeling.Iwonder if it could be the meds. Betty it could just be she hasn't been doing anything for a while, and probably flat on her back. Getting up and moving around after that takes some getting used to. She needs to take it slow and not tire herself out. |

Ohhhhhhhh my gosh! I lived without my kitchen for 7 months, but I could not live without my washer and dryer. They must be in your kitchen

Hi 5x5 Where have you been hiding? At least I haven't seen you in awhile. Been kind of having a rough time sleeping. I'm up til 4-5 in AM then sleep in til 9 or so. By then you guys are all gone it seems. Also, I went back to college on Mon., Wed. and all day Saturday. Great to be with people again but less time for the computer for fun. Thanks for asking!
