I bought a box of these Oatmeal to Go bars by Quaker. There Slog on the box "Everything you LOVE about Quaker oatmeal." Thinking to myself I like Quaker oatmeal. Not sure if I LOVE it but I know I like it. So I bought a box of these bars, take a bite and spat it out! It was like biting into RAW oatmeal I like my oatmeal COOKED thank you.



What are some products that you have bought, that you thought would be good and turned out it was not?

And I thought it was gonna be about the Cake.

Buffalo Wing and Blue Cheese Doritos....

I bought generic brown sugar-cinnamon pop tarts once, because they were a little cheaper. "How bad could they be?" I thought.

THOUGHT. Yuck. Absolutely putrid.



A few years ago, I grabbed a bottle of something called Coca-Cola Blak at a convenience store. I like Coke, so I figured "How bad could it be?" Turned out it was Coke and coffee mixed. I hate coffee. Whose idea was this?

I miss my Coke Blak! Just like you miss your Vanilla Pepsi.


Second.......

You know that here we do no even have generic brands of Pop-Tarts. I think it is because NOBODY can duplicate the yumminess of Pop-Tarts.

There's a restaraunt here in town that's always crazy packed, supposed to be the most amzaing tex-mex evah!!!!111 etc. So I finally sucked it up and went one night, parking was brutal but I figured "hey, this is going to be awesome, I can't wait to finally get to eat here" and all that, I ordered enchilada's as my standard meal I use for judging(heh) and had some chips too thinking it was going to be amazing...well....while they weren't terrible, I've definitely had better at other area restaraunts that aren't even specializing in them, it was an epic let down and I'm not even that picky to begin with (doh!)

You mean they sell crap in a can? WHOOO HOOO! I NOW have a drink I can offer my ex Mother-in-law.

Toaster strudles are the best

i went to japan and pretty much anything you order is a gamble...pastries and cakes look great but taste like cardboard...and i got something that looked like it had chocolate filling...turned out it was bean something....not a fun suprise

Oh I KNOW! I last boyfriend was Asian. And he got me some of those buns from a small bakery in China town. I was with him and they looked good, until he had me try one. And OMG ! SO nasty.

And then one night he took me out for "real" Chinese food, telling me that is was NOTHING like Canadian Chinese food, and man was he right! It was just UGH! There were no words to describe how gross it was. I SWEAR Orientals have no taste buds!

oh yeah if you know what your getting real Chinese/Japanese is a-freakin-mazing but you have any doubt...DONT GET IT.

When we went out for supper the whole menu was in Chinese, I had to leave it up to him to order.

i loved the plastic displays they had in the window. it made me feel more confident in my choice

Around here, it seems like every store has its own generic brand of pop-tarts.

They have names like "Mrs. No-Taste" and "I Can't Believe It's Not A Pastry Filled With Turpentine" and stuff like that. I should start paying more attention to the boxes.

Diet Vanilla Dr. Pepper. I sort of lik Dr. Pepper so I thought that I would try this. I'd sooner drink my own urine.

Chocolate candy canes. Ick and yuck! Soooooo disappointing!
