what I notice is that the Clintons were decimating the military, pretending that we were invincible and driving up taxes during the 90's. Clinton's "surplus" is a result of decreased defense spending and high taxation.

There should never be a "surplus". Surplus means the government is keeping tax money that it is not spending.. your tax money.

lol at Obama for spending 2 trillion in pork projects his first month and calling it "stimulus" then turning around and calling for responsiblity in spending

if you didnt serve in the armed forces dont bring it up . i served under both clinton and bush and was much happier under clinton .

Words... Just words...

When someone that understands economics looks at what he has proposed, compares it to historical records, and makes this conclusion, those of us that respect fiscal responsibility have the obligation to stand up and voice opposition.

Fanta.. You can call it what you want, UN American is fine with me, if your America is rebuilt on Marxist redistribution policy.

I didn't vote for McCain or Obama.

I served in the Air Force, and it irritates the hell out of me when someone says if you didn't serve you can't voice an opinion.

Who the hell pays for the military?

By Fanta46:
That's not a very good reason though. I would have respected you more had you wrote in Ron Paul, or even voted for McCain.

I call the Republicans Un-American because that's what their hero called anyone who didnt agree with his policies.
I dont really mean it, but after hearing it for 8 years that's what they deserve. Esp since they continue to advocate those same policies in light of their obvious failure.

By Fanta46:
This should have answered your question, nogames.

No, it didn't. It only shows me that you paint with a wide brush.
My question was very specific.

OK,
Let me help you.

Place your palms against your moniter. Im touching mine right now.

Can you feel the power of Fanta?
It should send bolts up your arms and
your ears will feel warm.

You should now be able to read my mind??
Best I can do in light of a comprehension deficit!drinker

Or, may-be, not collecting it to begin with? If taxes are theft, then taxes that were collected without a reason are theft without even a "greater good" behind it.

i do believe if you didnt serve you have nothing to say . people criticise clinton say he slaughtered the millitary and what i'm saying i served under both . and although it was a bigger millitatry under bush we were all happier under clinton . the millitary is not recesion proof .and when the economy suck believe it or not the armed forces feel it .

most of the people I knew in the military thought Clinton sucked

he gutted the military and because of his drawdowns it was next to impossible to make advancement

Still can not answer this, Fanta46?

by Fanta:

Some will never be happy winx.
They take every good thing Obama says and turn it around and around, unable to accept anything good from him, until they find the tiniest flaw and then jump to every (wrong) conclusion they can.
They make mountains of mole hills.

I call them Un-American!

by nogames39:

Let us SUPPOSE that:

1) There is NOT a singe good thing coming from Obama.
2) I am not happy about Obama because of (1).

Am I still an Un-American?
Should I be happy never the less, to qualify to be called an American?

here we go again

someone doesn't agree so we have to start with the put downs

sign of a weak mind defending an insecure position

so let me get this straight Clinton became President 16 years ago, your profile says you're 28 that means when Clinton became President you were 12.

You really don't know what an impact his drawdown made on the military cause you weren't there to see it until several years after it happened

i went into the service in 98 . bush "won" his first term in 2000 . i did see the difference in our millitary under both presidents . and i saw what kind of drag the bush administration put on our millitary .

no but only those who have served know what the millitary life is and are the only one with an accurate stance on it . the problem is our media goes "inside" the nillitary so people THINK they know what it is to be a soldier and wether they are happy . you have no clue .
