by an animal the same way we love and receive love from a romantic partner?

I think we "replace" what is real when we are feeling left behind.

sure, beastiality goes on everyday, and in other countries, it's somewhat excepted, i think they find us beautiful sometimes, and you find deer, and lions beautiful, but you draw a line. some don't. i heard many a time how they (girls) wanted to have the lion thing from beauty and the beast in their beds.

Personally I feel that some animals are smarter than we let on to and that they have social structures similar to ours.
The thing is that animals are geared differently intellectually in a lot of ways. Tigers live to hunt and kill, protect territory, rear offspring seasonally. They can and do show affection but it seems very violent by our standards. in Tiger standards acting like a total jerk on the behalf of the male makes her say HUBBA HUBBA because she is a strong and mean male. Likewise her slapping his face every one in a while with some claw makes him go 'Oh BABY you care!' Even Chimpanzees sexually operate by a whole different logic. The reality of it is that all mammals have innate urge to breed and it is an extremely powerful urge that can make them do very unpredictable things like US for example! Not to be sick and sexist (DOWN GIRLS!) males will try to stick their Snizzelwhackers into any warm willing available hole it can find by genetic programming. With females it is different. Yes I am taking this to the most basic of drives here!!!! Many species the females only become sexually active during their estrous. Then they will let the strongest male(s) partake of the chance to propagate. With humans the difference is we are creative and make things up and can also cross over certain lines. Now with Dogs as a species they have been part of mankind for all of written history and long before that. Still dogs conform to the basic behaviors but oddly why is it a female dog will willingly choose to present herself to a human male and refuse male dogs in heat? I have witness this behavior before. One would think a female dog cannot make a ration choice but here and there they do. With male dogs they will hump anything that lets them. Doge do form social bonds with owners though in some cases while other dogs are prone to run away. I think it is a case whether both parties do actually act in a "consensual" situation then it is possible but there is a name for this behavior... BESTIALITY!!! I know animals have feelings. I have had pet rats that were openly affectionate towards me and would jump on to my shoulder and give my face rat kisses especially when I gave them freshly eaten corn cobs and M & Ms with peanuts. I think part of it is fear of pregnancy and also not quite fitting in emotionally with the rest of humanity so they go for what makes them feel good behind closed doors. The thing is that sex is still different for animals no matter what. I don't think the emotional part of it really quite jibes. All of the physical equipment basically works the same but then again dogs have additions to their anatomy that may be a buzz kill for first timers! Then again like there are guys who will Moshenschlosh anything that will let them there are women who also have the need to fulfill their desires to put it to work and as long as it is willing to jump on she is a free ride. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T THINK I AM BEING SEXIST!!!!! I am just being intellectual about this. |

Love is love. I love all of my closest friends, dog or man, or woman alike. The difference, sexual attraction. Thats it.

Discriminative love? Err that's not love that's ego arrogance attachment.
No boundaries... no discrimination....Love is through you, not from you.... for all. |

by an animal the same way we love and receive love from a romantic partner? can we as beings feel these feelings truely for another species on this planet? I don't believe animals have emotions like humans, I think it is part of what seperates us from the animals. I do however, believe that animals can feel some sort of connection to humans. If you take care of an animal it will want to stick around, or atleast come back to you, for the care that you give it, and I think they try to give us some sort of care, as best they can. |

I have to figure out how that works for human beings before I start thinking about that.
