I just called Gopher Priaire and asked about their cheapest room. It's $42.60 for a room with a shower. I never thought of a shower as an option!! Sprite - where is your base camp? I have never heard of that before..... 
Star was talking about being at the house...
But base camp #1 is a 5 hour drive on the highway, turn right at the Poplar tree that was hit by lightening, go up the dirt road for another two hours, swing onto the "chicken road" and head north for another 45 mins...There you will find our main camp...From there it is walking, canoeing and portaging to get where we need to go... |

I'm just new to Thunder Bay and didn't know that we had a sister city.... No, I haven't had the pleasure of meeting anyone from here even though I have been here almost 2 years now....I'm hoping that things will work out so that I can do some traveling and meeting people in the fall.... From what I know so far, they don't bite. (But I bet they would if you asked them to.)
