Politeness, courtesy, basic decency, I could list lots of things but they would be my things and I'm sure each individual as it's own.

A better subject would be what is improper in public. Proper: Wear clothes. Speak respectfully to others. Improper: (Things I've actually encountered:) Wearing your pants so low you can see the crack in your butt. Abusing your wife or child. Beating a dog. Cursing the cashier out. Making a scene.

I guess what I was confused about was I've heard men say, "there are things that shouldn't be done in public". Sex, is the obvious one. I wasn't sure if p.d.a.'s were on the list.

What is considered proper in public? Holding hands in the walmart parking lot.......and as you are walking in.......you crouch along and shout...... Lions....and Tigers.......and Bears!!! OH MY!!!!!!
