even though i am fairly new to this site, i agree i did not know about the forums until just recently but i have enjoyed waking up to mingle forums and have LAMO at some of the posts, i will say that of all the places i could be online this one is my favorite, i am here to stay and will continue to grow with my new mingle family!!!   It is very addicting...but a good addiction

I have been sitting here thinking about a few things this evening, things that I have been through in the past few months, some good, some bad, some shared, some hidden. But through all of this....all of you have been here for me. If you weren't showing your support and kindness through the many posts in this wonderful community, you were emailing me with warm wishes and prayers. I have been to the point of nearly wetting myself with laughter, crying uncontrollably, praying to my God and dancing in the aisles. I am so proud to see what we have gained here. I remember not long ago, several very special people left this site on a very sad day. Luckily, some have returned and I am so glad to have them back, as I am sure all of you are! And not long ago, myself and others were concerned as what was happening to the site. We stood our ground, held to our beliefs and continue to treat one another with grace and respect. We all enjoy the fun, the harmless flirting, the stories of new love, excitement of a first date, weddings.....and new babies Men have stood up for the ladies, the ladies have put the men in their places  (at least they let us think we have ) We have asked for advice, given advice, stuck our feet in our mouths more times than we can count, pinched butts, sent flowers and butted heads....But more than anything....we have become a HUGE WONDERFUL FAMILY....and I am so proud to be here with all of you....I love you all in my own little way....Miskim Didn't know where else to put this  |

We always know we can come "home" for a laughs, cries, jokes, games, fun, debates, discourse and a little learning along the way...about love and friends, hurt and losses....and through it all it feels comfortable and comforting and what else could we ask for?

i had a friend talk me in to joining in nov,and i am soooooo glad i did,i've met a lot of great folk's here and a lot of new friend's some have become my family have gained 2 big sister's sevral lil sis's some brother's and every one i vist with here make's me fill like we r all family,even if we dont know each other and when some one need's a prayer every one here is there and when we loose some one to GOD we r here to support them  and this is my second HOME and we dont visit a lot but i know u r a true friend kim i could not even think of leaveing as a few count on me to b here or on the land line for them and that bring's me joy thank you GIRLFRIEND i will get u mailed and catch u up on thing's here WOW is what u will say

The last few years I have been here I have seen many come as well as many leave. I have laughed till I cried as well as seen the heart ache left behind with those that gave their hearts to another.
I've seen many prayer threads for those in need and many left their words of well wishes and prayers behind. I've rejoiced about births and cried for those that passed away that had became a friend. They say home is where you hang your hat at. Well I assure you there is one big hat rack within these walls. I have hung my hat within this place a place that has grabbed my heart straight down to my soul. I have met many special people within this place and no matter where our lives may end up I will never forget those that have touched my heart for the memories within will always linger on. Thank each and everyone that has crossed my path here for no matter how little or how much we have talked you each have made a difference within this heart.  |
