my thought is about this.....your a great father then.....i have a 7 month old little girl and her father has only seen her twice since she's been born.....it's not fun taking care of 2 kids that are 3 1/2 yrs apart.....although i currently have a boyfriend......my daughters father isn't in her life and it would help just alittle.....child support hasn't even got to his butt yet......anyways i love a guy when he shows emotions not only towards a child(ren) but to the person they are with even if it's talking on the phone and trying to figure out how things are going to work....

I think its beautiful for a man to take care of his children. Its very sweet.
I know men that dont even see their kids also and theres no excuse for that.

It's really not about being sexy ! i've had my two daughters live with me for many years since i got divorced ,and if i had the chance to do it all over again i would In a heartbeat no questions asked

I dont know if I think its "sexy" persay but it deserves a huge amount of respect. A friend of mine I went to HS with just lost his best friend a couple weeks ago in a car accident. The man had a 1 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. The only other people they have to take care of them are their Grandparents ho are too old so now my single father of ONE friend is a single father of 3.. Im amazed by his generousity and his heart of gold.!!!!!

Never look at it on whether it was sexy or not at the time it was a requirement to give them a better life, i'm sure bringing up 2 daughters as a single dad ,they might not have gotten all they should being a 1 parent house (and maybe i spoiled them lol)but they have a loving home and thats what counts as i said before it was worth it's weight in gold and the best times i've had , either male or female it's all the same your a parent ,and too many forget this!!!!

Yes I agree 100% I myself married a woman that had a 1 1/2 year old girl (Anna) I love them both. my wife and I had a girl (Kellie) and we rised them until My wife passed. Then it seems like I have become dad To my daughters friends that there dads could give a flying F...@ about them. I am glad that I can answer Gods prayer and be there for the kids.

Sorry to hear wife pass away !!! I had same thing happen and it was hard enough to deal with that +being responsible for 2 other lives ,but having them pulled me thru& made me focus on what was important and they turned out to be great kids

I can see how it could be sexy. Showing that much love and tenderness to their kids is a sexy quality. this is in NO means to be an insult. I guess what is sexy to me may not be to others. what's on the inside and their actions are sexier to me than looks. there are many men that don't take care of their kids an it seems to me that recently women are doing that more and more.

I'm a father of five, married 21 years and my soon to be ex is in mid-life crisis.I have been fighting for 6 month's to get more than just visitation. Kids need both a mother and father and the courts almost refuse the fathers custody even when they have done no wrong.

I don't think it has anythign to do with sexy. Some guys are great to thier kids but jerks to everyone else.

I have recently got involved with someone from here which has been a single father (wife past away)of two beautiful daughters (which are teenagers now and he got them at a very young age and they still are living with him) for many years ,and seeing them together is one of the most touching things i have ever seen or felt I envey them,there is nothing that man wouldn't do for those kids ( he has posted here aswell Shadow65), i myself have the darkerside of some men I have a child 4year old daughter & my life and i'm divorced but my exhusband dosen't want anything to do with me and takes it out on my child which is sad! you always hope that the person you have children with will always be there for you and they're children but oh to often thats not the case
as baabs said some are good with they're kids and jerks to everyone else is true ,but thats ok aslong as they're main focus is they're children ,I could deal with my ex hating me however it hurts to see him take it out on our little one which all they want is love from both parents ALL SAID AND DONE This is the topic
whether it be man or woman both sexes have the abilities to either be a good parent or a bad one !it is what make that person whom they are!!!!

From where i stand to all you fathers that are in your childrens lifes whether it's visitation or having them Never stop fighting for them !!
