It depends on where you are going, and what you might do after that .... If you have a casual dinner and then play pool, or browse a good bookstore and have coffee, or take a cooking class, or go to a basketball game, then high heels might not be your best bet. Being over dressed is not fun.

I always like to save the dressier dates for the 4th or 5th date. Then you know if he is 'high heel' worthy!

It's usually pretty warm in Cali year around, so I'm a flip flop, hoodie and mini skirt girl unless I know otherwise.

Do you feel incredible in them? Then wear them...it's about how they make YOU feel and if someone else gets to enjoy the view, lucky them!

Unless of course you are going hiking or something and then, I'd say 'not' on the first date.
