are high heels too much for a first date?

I wear heels as often as possible, but that's just because I'm short  and I love shoes.

Just how high are you going? where's the date? is it a dinner date, yes to heels, is it an activity, use your judgement.

have fun and enjoy yourself flowerforyou

It depends on where you are going, and what you might do after that .... If you have a casual dinner and then play pool, or browse a good bookstore and have coffee, or take a cooking class, or go to a basketball game, then high heels might not be your best bet. Being over dressed is not fun.

I always like to save the dressier dates for the 4th or 5th date. Then you know if he is 'high heel' worthy!

It's usually pretty warm in Cali year around, so I'm a flip flop, hoodie and mini skirt girl unless I know otherwise. waving

i am with you on this one, save the heels for later, but on the other hand they do make a handy weapon if needed.bigsmile

where are you going....is he taller than you...is he dressing up...if so by all means wear heels. I love em.

offtopic I would never date anyone the same height or shorter than me. Solves that problem! When I wear even the shortest of heels -- 4 iches -- then I stand 6.3. shocked

I LOVE wearing heels too, even with jeans! To the OP, as you can tell by the replies, the bottom line is wear what you are most comfortable wearing; that will exude sexiness and confidence.

Good luck, and tell us how it went!

Yes, I always wait until the 4th or 5th date too, just to see if she is 'suit and tie' worthy.

No, they aren't. Unless with them you'll be taller than him. And, that must be doubled with you know or think that would upset him...

I have high heels that I wear with jeans. I love 'em and if you want to wear them, go for it!
