...who was it?? the last person to hold your hand; for any reason?? (mine was a friend; giving me comfort, as my dad going back into a hospital.) Myself, I rub my hands sometime, because they get sore from work, does that count?

One of my patients today.... a regal woman of 89 years; she'd fallen at home and broken her hip and was in a lot of pain, yet never complained. I hope I am that strong of spirit when I am her age.

Even though I'm sure that I've held a lot of hands, I don't really recall one except my friend Cynthia in the hospital with cancer. And my girl and myself both knew that we would never see her alive again. We held her hand and each others when we finally left.

My 23 yr old daughter was the last one to hold my hand about a month ago. She and her friends took me to a big dance club. I had never been to one before and I stood in amazement - got seperated from them and she came back and held my hand and led me away.. Fun night that was! The time before that - Feb 2007 - who soon after became my ex.
