where is white history month? or american indian history month? or jewish history month? what makes black people need a black history month anyhow?? since the american indians were here first...they deserve a month more than anyone i would think huh

It's white history month every month of the year. i agree with you there, but there are so many different backgrounds that make up america. i celebrate 2 of mine....oktoberfest and st patricks day....the others i don't have a day lol. in texas, the schools close for cinco de mayo (well this city does at least) but what about the native americans? we should all celebrate our heritage....whatever it is

america is a melting pot. we are all made up from various heritages. I do not believe it is fair and find it ridiculous for anyone to tell me to recognize their heritage! I have my own heritage...unless i happen to be in love with a person what do i care about having pride in someone else's heritage??? I celebrate american and christian holidays. and there is not a white american history month...if there is I would like to seriosuly know which month it is and why it isnt being broadcast nationally.

and no i dont HATE somebody because of their race. or their heritage. again its about equality. i have two children. if i spent a month praising my eldest and exploring her history and every single thing about her.................what is that going to do to my son????

all the whitness on tv?? u mean like movie stars and news reporters?? mostly what i see on tv is either news or animation. i see lotsa colors black people have their place in american history books. its a history about america... which month is white history month?? July?? i would like to be able to have some of my own racial pride i am mostly german and cherokee

you do have oktober fest like me...but nothing for the cherokee. no heritage should be left out IMO i do get old movies about the trail of tears mostly... broadcast on tv. honestly i could care less...i am who i am..not who my ancestors were. I try to live in the present and have pride in myself as a person. as an american. and as a christian. do i have white pride?? nope color is nothing but exterior paint. and to relive the past all the time is to not focus on the future down with black history month.. down with singling out one group, any group, and putting higher appreciation on it. UP with self discovery, self respect, and learning.

i like learning about history...there is nothing wrong in that. but i do find all the different groups and holidays for so and so and this and that...do not allow the melting pot to cook successfully.
