Why do people put they smoke "occassionally" in their profiles? Nobody smokes "occassionally". Drink "occassionally", yes, but smoking???

I know people that smoke only when out with friends. some do smoke ocasionally. some people might mean they aren't chain smokers

I know some people that only smoke when they go out drinking or are around other smokers so that is occassionally

I smoke a cig probably once a month... which would mean occasionally... see, not everyone gets addicted to tobacco.

interesting question, anyone care to quantify occasionally.. roco not sure there is a set number or time. Maybe it depends on the person's meaning. there are times I smoke about a pack and times I don't smoke at all

interesting question, anyone care to quantify occasionally.. roco re-read, a couple have already quantified....some only smoke when they drink, while other's have a smoke maybe once a month and point out that not all are addicted to tobacco. Mind over matter.

my ex bf smoked occassionally, would buy a pack of cloves smoke 1-5 a day till gone, then not buy a pack for 5 months
