I think sex is just sex without a certain level of intimacy. I think when two people can get to the point where they really know eachother and can share things together such as affection and time just being close to eachother without it always being about sex it could be more than simple satisfaction.

if your in love, or love each other enough, sex can make all the difference, can make it amazing or ruin the relationship. personal experience, never ruined it for me but i know of people who it has. when the feeling is right ull both know.
