Topic: Believe in God or don't..Whats to lose

But if you as someone who doesn't believe in God spends their whole life doubting a divine creator, living for pleasing themselves and what they can get out of life. What if when you die there is a God ? Then what have you lost? I think I'd rather live by faith and be wrong, than live by doubt and be wrong. So my question is what do you think? And what's the point of your life? "DeKLiNe0fMaN"... if that was true then you would also be praising Allah and Zeus and all the other Gods because what if they actually exist see how your reasoning falls into the realm of delusion and paranioa Funches... you bring up delusions and paranoia a lot. Just because some people believe differently than you do, doesn't mean they're delusional. "Jill".... I was going by what the poster posted ...he said to believe and worship in God what you have to lose because it may actually exist so doesn't that means to believe in and worship all Gods the way they God specificed that you do, so why does he pick or request that just one God be believed in or worshipped and not all the gods unless he is trying to push his own paraniod delusion as a religious agenda

All beliefs are only in the minds of the individual. There is no evidence to suggest one is more right than another. I choose to not live a life of guilt and constant repentance for sins I may have committed. I fail to see how it is fair to held guilty for "the sins of my fathers".

I don't think it's fair to call everyone that believes in a religion as delusional and paranoid.

It really does not matter what anyone believes as long as they live good lives and remain true to themselves! Goodness based on what? Goodness based on an internal moral compass. Goodness based on decent behavior without expectation of rewards or punishment after you are dead. VISION OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

"Jill" to claim that something exist that is unseen and incomprehensible to the human sense is delusional ... why? because if it is incomprehensible to the human senses then it is impossible for a human to know it exist to claim that you love an unprovable entity because it will send you to hell or wherever if you don't love it ...is paranoid delusion

to identify the motive within that create any illusion that create a delusion, release the soul from it's own prison??? illusion become not delusion except by the greatest first religion of the soul, the love of proving self as correct??? no delusion can exist within the wisest hearts of the cosmos, that love the sight proving itself false??? for anything to see that each time it prove itself as incorrect, it climb another rung up the infinite ladder of wisdom, bring the heart and mind and soul and spirit and energy and body to elation!!!
