You need to quit making exuses. Thats all you do is make exuses. If your always looking at the bad things in life...the good things will pass you by and you will never have known what might have been because your to busy whining to others about how bad you think your life is.

They never wrote me back, either, and I'm a published author with two books on the market right now. So it isn't like I couldn't figure out how to write a decent e-mail.

Sometimes you need to change your strategy.

I decided to stop sending out first e-mails, since that wasn't accomplishing anything. I just started posting more in the forums, and after awhile, they started writing to me. A lot. I get tons of e-mail here now.

Yeah, it took awhile. I had to put some time and effort (and a hell of a lot of writing) into it -- but I got noticed. More people started reading my profile (or portions thereof). They write to me about that, too.

I've been here two years, have made lots of friends, have had a lot of fun here. I have never met anyone from this site in person (I'm gunshy because of bad experiences on other sites), and I still never hear from anyone local.

But tomorrow's another day -- who knows?

if you live life gauging and comparing to others, you will surely not be very happy.

Move on...go to another site....go out and meet people.
