There is hope depending on where you live. There were only 2 possibilities where I'm at. A couple of maybe's and a whole lotta no thank you's.

You seem to be a sweet gal, just keep your chin up and STAY optimistic.

If you were ten years older

suggestions:
full body picture (anything more than just a mug shot)
Little more in your info - describe your hobbies and interests, talk about your new home - do you like it? why?, just anything that can help someone better key in on your personality and not just a picture.

Great start keep up the effort - and the forums are a great place to make some good contacts, remember it isn't always about directly finding someone, you might just be the perfect match to a member's brother cousin or son.
