Anyone know of a really good software package for mixing and arranging music? Something like a live DJ would have only minus the hardware for now.

I use a couple of different Programs

TPlayer is a free one simple but works good

Atomix Virtual DJ is good to with more options

MixVibes Pro is also good but I don't like the layout of it

DeeJaySystem Mk-I is good also you can open as many virtual turntable as you want

Scratchlive would be useful if I had equipment, which I don't at this time. And it is expensive as hell! I'm not even that good yet, looking for more of a starter kit type thing.

TPlayer isn't what I'm looking for, checked it out already.

VirtualDJ is very limited in what it can do with music files, though I do like the virtual deck it has.

Mixvibes is small, too small.

DeeJaySystem is small as well.

Not looking to open gobs of turntables, looking for switch options and an excellent fader with recording. So far I'm looking at Deckadance from Image-Line...as well as probably FL Studio. So far those are the types I'm looking for until I can get some tables and some good midi controller.

All about Ableton Live.

It's what all the pros use.

Also worth noting that I wouldn't consider someone a real DJ if they couldn't use the 1s and 2s.
