Know any chimps that can type on a keyboard ?

Or talk?

Or dress themselves?

Or write?

Or cook a grand dinner for two?

Or reason?

Or think?

Know any?

Even one?

Just maybe..one?

Darwin was exposed to Christianity in his youth, Mirror....

turned away later on...

but accepted Christ on his deathbed.

It was Christ who drew Darwin unto Him on his deathbed....

and MirrorrMirror...

when we are dying, who will be able to

resist the Awesome Drawing Power of God's Presence??

No one.

And who would even want to resist?

No one.

No matter what people

say in life now....

no one will

be able to resist God's Awesome Drawing Power...

and His Awesome Love...when the time comes.flowerforyou

And only God knows when that time will be for each one of us.

Though man protests against God now ...

one day each man will feel God's Awesome Love..

and God's Awesome Presence...

and will accept God too.

Scripture says,

Except God draw man, no man can accept God.

But In the meantime , God is preparing the heart to recieve.

But once more...

when God's drawing Presence is felt...

No one will be able to resist and say no..except the coldest hearts.

And I don't know any ...or see any cold hearts here.

Fot those who haven't accepted Christ yet, they just have not seen yet.

That's all.flowerforyou

I'll second that

our thoughts on Theology are not quite eye to eye but I have no doubt that she loves our heavenly father and He loves her

don't think we will ever see eye to eye on Genesis

When are going to stop spreading this lie? The person who started that story all those years ago lied. Darwin did not have have deathbed renewal of faith. He dies as he had lived for most of his life an agnostic at the most. The story of his death bed conversion was made up by a woman a few years after he died. According to his family she was not there when he was on his death bed and if he had some conversion before he was on his death bed, how likely would it have been that he wouldn't tell his family.

The page you reference is clearly biased. As as example: "Darwin had been taught to think. The trouble was he started without a grasp on the authority of Scripture and with wrong assumptions." Furthermore it uses as it's sources other clearly biases works.

While I am at it let me use your own source to correct several earlier claims made by you as to his deathbed conversion:

Did Darwin experience a deathbed conversion? No. The rumor stems from Lady Elizabeth Hope, an evangelist and temperance leader, who visited the Darwins one afternoon six months before his death while she was doing missions in the area. Her story was published in the Baptist Watchman-Examiner in 1915 after she had immigrated to the United States and had been actively writing gospel tracts for years. She doubtless embellished her story, which boiled down to seeing Darwin read the Bible (which he could have been, given his interest in comparing philosophies). She commented on his admiration of the Scriptures but did not say that he made a confession of faith or renounced evolution.

M.S., you and I will get along much better as long as I stop visiting you on religious threads.

I am getting real ticked off now, so I best be going. Just remember, I get as offended when someone spreads vicious lies about Darwin, as you would get if I disrespected your Jesus.

Good day, ma'am.
