I'm surprised how many others think about the "edit scars"...what a vain, vain society we are!

I don't bother to edit. I do try to find the typos and check as I go along . But sometimes I just let it fly.. why not? there are enough spelling and grammar police here isn't there? 
I will let minor errors go without teasing like a misplaced coma or what not. I just get annoyed with people that attempt to re-allocate the English language. Like that one guy. I think he deactivated (due to the ridicule) Weman!
