Fact: The EDIT button is evil.
Also fact: The EDIT button is a necessary evil. I begrudgingly use it to correct a misspell...(secretly, I hate the "edit scar" it leaves behind on my post...yea, I'm weird) But when someone uses it to COMPLETELY change a thought or response...it drives me crazy! ![]() ![]() What pushes your buttons? Self-inflicted edit scar...cuz I'm kinda' kinky that way! |

I agree. I don’t like the edit feature all that much either but sometimes I will misspell a word or forget a coma or some other mistake and for that I’m glad it exists. I like that they set a timer on the edit feature so people can’t come back days or weeks later and change the content of a post. I’m also told that the moderators can see what we originally wrote even if you edit it. I don’t know if that is true or not but I know on some forums, that is the case.

You ain't alone, sister. I don't like it either. It would be great to have a Preview feature, so you could check your work over before submitting it. |

I don't bother to edit. I do try to find the typos and check as I go along . But sometimes I just let it fly.. why not? there are enough spelling and grammar police here isn't there?
