I moved to columbia, sc 6 months ago. It just seems so hard to find white guys who date blk women here. If I'm wrong please let me know. If there are places to mingle with like minded indivduals that would be a plus.

hey, as a former sc resident.....i knonw it's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hard to date interracially.....south carolina is a veryold-fashioned state....

I find its easier for black guys to date white womenm in the south.You see it more then white guys and black women.I have a buddy I work with that married a black woman, happy as can be.Seems from what Ive heard(from white guys that I know that dated a black woman) is that they get harrassed from the black guys more then the white guys.Crack on them for takin their women and tell them to stick with their own race.To each their own I say.What ever makes ya happy do it.It does seem easier the farther out west you go.I guess its so culturally devided and less small minded ppl.......

You do see it around here although it is more commonly to see white girls with black guys. It is hard for some because there is a lot of tradition, religion and family involve in the south. A person that dates outside their race can be disown by their family. I know a few in my family that would but it is not just white. My best friend is black and some in his family would disown him for dating a white girl. So in order to keep the peace in the family, they just don’t do it.

I love south Carolina but there is like no Asian guys!! And when you actually do find one they don't date outside of their race :(

I seem to have the same problem here in S.C. and I'm older. I thought the older guys would be past the whole segregated thing by now, and maybe they are, but I have only run into one white guy willing to go on a date...and he was actually from Atlanta.
So you 'more mature' guys if you're out there and interested, let me know! Interracial dating is not a problem at all for me.
