Yes. As long as you leave enough slack in your goals to vary course according to the world around you. Being single ain't the best situation but it helps to fulfill your goals if you dont worry about someone elses too. Although one old girlfriend long ago helped me to define mine better and get a start...so I guess it could go both ways. |

If there's anything I've ever learned about life, it's that no one's in control of anything. You might THINK you do, but there are too many variables present that can put a monkey wrench in your plans. I totally disagree, for myself anyway. Being in control doesnt mean (to me) plotting a course and never veering off. Sh*t always happens. Being in control is managing the changes and still getting there. |

Yes, and yes...makes it far easier to stay on goals at hand, without the constant bother of whether I am doing something right or wrong.

Mostly. But as with most things in life....there are ups and downs. My outlook on my own life does tend to flux a tad...but in general....I'm happy.
