I have to believe that it's a combination of the two.

Mainly because I have had dreams that have shown me very short glimpses of something that would happen in my future.

Nothing earth shattering. Just small looks at things that haven't happened yet.

How do i know?? Because they are the only dreams that I can remember having, and what they have shown me has actually happened. Sometimes months or years after the dream, but they haven't been wrong yet.

be messages from a “higher level”? Or are you like me and figure dreams are just dreams not visions.

I wouldn't say dreams are from a so-called "higher level."

I would say they hold a great deal of significance in our everyday lives. At least, my everyday life. All of us tend to experience recurring themes in a lot of our dreams that reflect our anxieties about the world around us. I'm not going to say that they can predict the future, but in my experience, take a dream apart and analyze its symbols and the meaning those symbols have to you, and you've got something of a view of the inside of your mind.

Dreams are created by our mind, whether sub-conscious or conscious is debateable...they are not from a "higher level"...

I do dreamwork-other dimensions-we are multidimentional beings-key is awareness and clarity. It does take some changes in diet and belief systems, but sooooooooo worth it!

flowerforyou Same and agreed! When I was a yoga teacher, and spent 8-10 hrs. in yoga/meditation daily? WOAH! What dreams may come, and did. Many from then are STILL playing out. Still happening, just not at that same, off-the-charts level of intensity and number. flowerforyou

Dreams all the things you have seen or heard forming different scenarios in your unconscious mind while you sleep

While, I mostly agree with this...it still doesn't explain of people in my dreams, that I have never met before. No reasoning, and the dreams from long ago...their face was so vivid, and I know, I have never met these people in my life, and wouldn't remember them, if I did meet them today. what

any dream can become reality when you put your heart into it.

I think that there are a lot of things that the sub conscious takes notice of that we aren't aware of. Subtleties in other people and behaviors. Dreams tell us a lot. And I think THAT'S the gift from a "higher power"
