Say I told you your car needs three tires. Then you paid for the tires, I come back the six days later and say your car needs three more tires... Any street smart hot blooded American would immediately realize that he had been had. He would know with 100% certainty, that I have stolen the money he gave me last time for three tires. But, now the congress tells us we need to give say 800 bln dollars to fix the economy. Six month later they come back and say they need 800 bln dollars to fix the economy.... And everyone is simply swallowing it. I wonder how long can one have an American, until that American realizes that he is simply being had. |
