Piggly Wiggly's (commonly referred to as "The Pig") are everywhere around here.

I've travelled all over the country & have lived in 5 different states...I get a kick out of all the regional colloquialisms...

In Minnesota, a wedgie is called a "snuggie"...

In Missouri, ya'll is "youns"...

There's plenty more...but you get the gist...

In Wisconsin, it's "pop". In Minnesota, it's "soda".

In Wisconsin, it's a "bubbler". In Minnesota, it's a "water fountain".

My Mom called it "pop"...I'd say "I got your POP right here!"

In Missouri it's "sodie"...

Right across the river in Wisconny, we used to go to Joe's Valley...an all you can eat chicken shack...they had the bestest & coldest milk there...you could buy it for a quarter a glass...man, miss that!

Lack of good smoked bacon on the east coast. The sh!t they have resembles bacon flavored cardboard. Californias piece of sh!t prepay gas station inconvenience stores and their f*cking retarded vapor recovery nozzles that don't work on motorcycles. And calif*ckias and new works fireproof piece of sh!t cigarettes that don't smoke worth a crap. The east coasts lack of anheuser busch natural pilsner and the the west coasts lack of leinenkugels beer. The east coasts lack of twin bing candy and the west coasts abundance of candy asses. The overabundance of illegals and dry counties in the south. And the underabundance of dentists and meth and crack treatment centers.

We drink it without sugar, or with sweet n' low.

And we have less diabetes here.

Sugar is bad.sick

But those who like sweet tea can alway put in 1/3 cup of sugar. That's about how much they use in a tall glass.

I bet the sugar industry loves them.

People who visit me here in Ohio find it funny that you can drive through for almost anything. Beer/Cigs of course.......but then dog food, salt for your soft water tank, food, ready made pizza, coffee, all kinds of stuff. Me thinks we are lazy.......laugh

I'm from the Southeast, moved to the Midwest.

-Oklahomans (Tulsans anyway) seem to be scared of any curve in the road.
-There's no Cheer-Wine!
-The Oklahomans (they generally don't like to be called "Okie") call a soda "pop."
-I have yet to hear bluegrass out here. No complaints, really.
-There seem to be more classic trucks out here.
-I found a salon the size of a Wal-Mart restroom ten miles from anything and it was still doing business.
-Where are the grits?
-No, seriously, where are the grits?
-There are actually more lakes and ponds out here, this is became Army corps of engineers training area after the dustbowl.
-Okies (you heard me) can make going to town a mini-vacation, will make any excuse to party, generally smoke... and there seem to be more ricers than racers out here. I come from bootleggers, what can I say?
-There's a common claim to ancestors who left Confederate territory before the war could end badly. They do -not- like the term "deserters."
