can't seem to believe that men and women can be friends ?

or don't understand why anyone would enjoy talking to complete strangers, young or old, just to chat about whatever ?

Personally, I see Mingle as just another form of communication, like CB, Ham Radio, or other forums on the net, but online, you get a much wider array of personality types to enjoy

Yeah, this puzzles me. Most of my friends are women. A couple of them, I used to be "involved" with years ago, but that was then and this is now --

I, for one, am beginning to believe to think that men and women can't be friends. The whole potential dating predatory thing happens too often with friends of the other gender.

I'm also beginning to think that being friends with ex's is also not a good thing, as the issues with what broke things up in the first place will eventually show up.

Some do have a hard time believing that men and women can be just friends. Actually my best friend is a guy we have been friends for about 23 years now and nothing but friends. Have never thought of him as anything but a friend. The ones that really know us both know it is true those that have only known us for a short time have actually asked.

I have friends that are of all genders, races, religions, and sexual orientations!

That old saying, just comes into play when someone thinks of another as just more than friends. And if they let it go there, then there is problems and complications.

I let it go there with my best friend (male), however because I knew going into it, it wouldn't change the friendship, we are still friends.

I absolutely have male friends. I don't see any issue with it.

Im engaged, and rent from my best friend, who is also my X GF. Actually, im still friends with my last ex GF too. Just cause ya can't live together as mates, doesn't mean ya can't be friends. Life is too short to spend it making enemies and being afraid of people. Treasure the good one's, and keep your eye on the others smokin

i have a couple of friends that are guys.

i don't see them that frequently, maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

i think it'd be a problem only if i were seeing them more often, and sharing more of my personal thoughts with them, than i did my boyfriend, and/or excluding my partner from knowing them as well.

never understood why there would be a problem with men and women being and remaining friends.

be honest
be upfront

but then again I think life is simple laugh
