I was half asleep, so I don't recall all the details...but I heard something on the news about a new virus that causes sniffling, sneezing & forces the body to produce more fat cells?

Did anyone else hear about this?

what I heard was that they've linked the common cold to wieght gain in kids. I didn't get all the details either but that's what I heard.

I figure the answer lies somewhere in those bowls of chicken noodle soup..

Online encyclopedia says:

The fat virus is the popular name for the concept that some obesity in humans and other animals has a viral source. The AD-36 adenovirus has been observed to increase the amount of body fat on laboratory animals[citation needed], an effect that has been duplicated on chickens[1] and monkeys[2]. Human testing has not been committed on grounds of research ethics

could it just be because you're sick you're not moving around and being mobile as much? Therefore you tend to put on some extra weight or store more fat?

Well if that was true then any sickness that confined u to bed would make u fat as well. but from what i read doesnt really harm u much just makes u feel horible n makes u fat. but after its gone im sure u can just toss off the fat it put on u.

I am sure they will find someone. In today's world no one is responsible for their actions... someone else made them do it.

Oh! I get it!
The chickens and monkeys don't go to court!!!
People would sue!!laugh
"Your yadda yadda yadda yadda caused this person to gain weight...and those pants will always make their butt look too big. While the process of weight gain was painless--even pleasant--the resulting mental anguish has emotionally scarred the person...perhaps for life. And science does not have the means to reduce the weight gain other than by strenuous exercise and healthy diet. The Court therefore awards the Plaintiff a lifetime supply of Cheeseburgers, supersized, at the expense of the Defendant."
