felt like an outsider in your own family, like you dont fit in,you dont belong ? Oh, sweetheart, most of America feels that way! But you can pick your friends and ignore your family any time! |

haha This was written especially for me.
The short answer is YES!!!!! I think everyone in my family whose still alive resents me for..having it easy. Not that I do, but they think that they have to bust tier asses for scraps and it all just falls on me. It doesn't. I just have studied and worked hard since I was 17 to know a good trade..and I do. My dad, who I'm a lot like I hope, understood. Nobody else does. He told me before a while before he died that they were "angry" at me because "I could have done anything I wanted". Truth is, I did. It just didn't fit what most people, especially them, wanted FOR me. Had a great company, lots of money, houses..and left it behind to ride a few weeks. Turned into a few years and a trip that still hasn't really ended. Just need to re-tool. lol Im kinda settled now but my sister who owns the house right next to the one I got for my brother still wont even say hi to me. I guess her job is stressful. lol But hey, I live my life for me and mine and wouldn't cvhange a thing. Hope nobody else would either just because loved ones (and I still love them) want you different. See the good in people and let them live! |

felt like an outsider in your own family, like you dont fit in,you dont belong ? Your mom just told me that you were actually adopted. |

felt like an outsider in your own family, like you dont fit in,you dont belong ? I was the pioneer black sheep, until someone else nuked the white picket fence, another relative committed suicide, and alot of the others got little bruises here and there. Eventually my mom and step-father started shutting up people who were putting me down just stating I'm on my own. As my natural father died before I was born I still am waiting for the materinity results. I don't see the resemblence. |

Nope

Actually, it's my family, and many of the closer kin "don't belong"...but they live in denial.
It took years for me to discover that truth. So, I don't belong with my closest family. Knowing the, as I do, it actually relieves me. |

felt like an outsider in your own family, like you dont fit in,you dont belong ? Sometimes, but I know it's just me having an insecure moment. Sis is extremely ambitious and hard-working. Step-brothers have high paying jobs & big houses. And then there's me, lol. Sometimes I feel like Ron White at Thanksgiving. |

felt like an outsider in your own family, like you dont fit in,you dont belong ? I've always been an outsider in my family. The only time my family calls me is when they need something, like money. |

You must have been to some of my family functions!

Yeah, all the time. The only time my family wants anything to do with me is when they want to hit me up for money.
Other than that, the invites my parents get for the family reunions say something like "your invited if that kid of yours dosen't show up" |
