i usually dont mention the online thing un less they ask.
if it gets brought up it gets brough up.........but my mom hasnt asked that yet

To tell people you met your bf / gf online? Do you think people look at you or your relationship differently because you met them online? Lately I HAVE been. It's almost like being branded with a scarlet letter or something. |

I think most people are still "old school". I always have to follow up telling someone that I met a man online with the explaination of why that's just the best way for me to meet men since I don't go to bars or clubs all that often, etc.
But yep. I can almost smell the judgement..... |

It doesnt matter.. as long as you are happy with the person.. You make your own choices and do whats best for you.

I think most people are wary of people online, which is strange because we are all humans. Its just a different venue. im wary of people in real life!!

It does make me feel a little weird telling it but I dont understand why-

If i met someone online, which i have a few times, and I was happy about it, thats all that really matters to me. Not what others think of it. |

Do you think people look at you or your relationship differently because you met them online? when i met my bf on here. he had told his sister about me, and she said make sure she not a physco. it was funny my mom and sisters said the same thing about him..LOL!! they dont look at me differntly but they just want me to aware of whats going on. which i know that.. now when it comes to telling my daughter on how i met a guy. she freaks out on me and gives me a little lecture. but she protecting her mom..LOL!! |
