To me...

It is meeting someone through sheer force of being a good person...looks be damned...

The few people who I have met over the internet..I am proud to say are still my good friends.

Well, hey...how many people use a phone book to connect with someone 1500 miles away that they would never meet except via the internet?
Just try it.
That's when you become a joke to people.
And the authorities want to keep an eye on you.laugh laugh laugh

To tell people you met your bf / gf online? Do you think people look at you or your relationship differently because you met them online?

Not at all. My friends know the odd ones aren't even good out here, and besides, you can find anything on the Internet.

Yes and no.

We met here in JSH 2 years ago and some friends and relatives don't understand it... some we use our "story" on and they 'ah'(cuse me while I tear up:cry: _ I am kidding:laughing: ) it is a good one though lol but kidding aside our friends are still our friends. Sometimes I feel a few are waiting for things not to work, so they can say 'see i told you so'.... but damn grateful JSH came into my life when it did....drinker

Nah, I don't care what anybody thinks. Besides, the ones I've met on line have only been marginally worse than the ones I met in real life.

"how did ya'll meet"

"well we started talking..it just kinda went from there"

The word more commonly used is "Where", not "How".
