So far this year it has not been good for me. I have to make my kids go to there moms. My grandfather passed away this week, and today my dog that I raised from a puppy died. They say there is a light at the end of the tunnal. What they forgot to tell you was that the light at the end of the tunnal is a train. I hope this is the end of my bad luck. hows this year going for everyone eles?

anyway since 2009....
my mother in law (who lives with us) has had to recover from heart surgery
my 12 year old daughter broke her arm
my entire family including me has had that nasty stomach flu
and now we are all sick with a serious head cold
on top of bankruptcy and trying to make things stay together....

Can relate. Dealing with some difficult situations myself. Find it helpful to make a "Gratitude List". Write down the thing that I have with no care what others think. It is my list. Will share one that I'm very Grateful for - My friends that have been made here on Mingle. All have been very supportive and understanding.

A very good friend who has overcome several addictions (17 years now) gives thanks every night that she has made it through another day. Find what works for you and hold on to it with both hands.

I lost both my husband and mom within 6 mo in 2007.. If it wasn't for my friends on this site and here at home I wouldn't have made it thru the winter.. Bless you all for being there..
