Kind of uncompassionate aren't ya?
When used medicinally it is justifiable. I resent drug addicts wiping out Peyote cacti looking for a cheap thrill or licking toads in hopes they can get a Bufogenic high. People are more willing to put up with an AIDS victim rather than someone who uses alternate medicines not accepted by the AMA or approved of a government who tried to decide what is best for us. Heck serial rapists are shown more compassion sometimes. At least it isn't Meth, Blow, or Smack. I know Kemo survivors that would be pissed off at anyone getting all huffy about the 4:20 community. Having gone cold turkey from prescribed overdoses of some really powerful Pharmaceuticals I can tell you some stories! All I am asking is please have a little tact if you are answering and have a opposing view point. I know passions can run high but being mean is just tweaking everyone's karma.  trust me,
I have grown up with Alcoholics in my life. I was surrounded by pill poppers and a lot of other crap in my time. I have had room mates hop down the crystal white bunny trail and I got sucked into that whole trying to save a "friend thing." I have experimented with certain things but due to my reversed metabolism a lot of drugs work completely backwards on me and I had no interest in adjusting my perceptions in that way. Like anything I have seen people fall into a hole thanks to our friendly neighbor hood spider weed. Some like to call it a gate way drug. Frankly anything can be a gateway to another thing. Twinkies lead to obesity! Did prohibition stop drinking in the 1930s? The Grand Experiment failed utterly. There has been a LONG ongoing study of treating ADD and ADHD patients with THC and they have found that unlike Ritalin which is a Meth Amphetamine derivative (the two drugs are nearly identical) THC had far fewer derogatory side effects and was not habit forming in the same way meth is addictive. It also did not make any of the patience Psychotic which Ritalin in large doses does. Would you treat your child with Pharmaceuticals that made them weird out on you? Personally I would not want my kids if Hyperactive to use any drugs what so ever. They just have to be handled differently. They have to learn focus and discipline which is not easy with a kid who cannot sit still for one minute. Education is more of an answer verses trying to be belligerent towards soemthing that is abused and misunderstood.  Blah....blah....freakin' blah. How's THAT for tact?
Personally, I have much better things to do than waste my time, money, and energy on something intended to deliberately f*ck up my brain. I prefer staying 100% on top of my game. Save your preaching on your soapbox about the virtues of an illegal mind-altering substance. Wowwwww, duuuuude! Hey, I had doctors shoving sh*t down my throat that DID FU*K my head up royally but instead of backing me off of it they upped my dosages to above criminal! Don't get pissed off at those of us who found a true medical use for it. It has been the one thing that kept me from tearing the heads off of very deserving ass h**es. I also operate above the level of others and have to come down to YOUR level so I can be Socially Acceptable. You are 100% without? I am 250% without. You are exactly the same as a Cocaine addict looking down on everyone else only you are reeking of purity. You can enjoy life totally Straight. Good for you. Here is your pat on the back..... |

Don't get pissed off at those of us who found a true medical use for it. It has been the one thing that kept me from tearing the heads off of very deserving ass h**es. I also operate above the level of others and have to come down to YOUR level so I can be Socially Acceptable. You are 100% without? I am 250% without. All I can say is that I wish more people would at least consider the medical usages. If pot were legal...it wouldn't be a controlled substance...& would be less expensive & more available to those who need it.
When my Mom was fighting terminal cancer, we could not afford the $900 a month bill for her Marinol...it doesn't get you high...just helps your appetite. When I asked the pharmacist why it was so expensive...he replied "Well, it's a controlled substance"... I should've just bought her a bag instead...at least she would've went with a smile on her face...
