Doubting Thomasina
Doub-ting Thom-a-sina You know who you are. I’ve sat back and watched you. Girl, you know you’ve come so far. No longer lost In a world of numbing pain. Run your fingers cross those scars Knowing wisdom you have gained. Dout-ting Thom-a-sina Reaching heights from another’s wings. Square your shoulders, glance about, What are those shimmering things? No longer needing Others to choose your sights. Open up those wings, my girl, You’ve learned how best to fly. Oh Thom-a-sina, You’ve found your way for sure. It may be different from another’s, But you doubt it no more. |

First of all...i love it. Second of all...is it bad form to offer a different end...not expecting the brilliant Wench to change anything?? (especially since the poem speaks to that directly)....anyway I couldnt help but end it like this:
It may be different from another's Eye But doubt your Self no more |

thanks, Wiz O'the Wisp (no clue where that nickname came from, but I kinda like it Wiz O'the Wisp or Whip
![]() KACE! yes, I see I see and thanks. Although, it is rather difficult to see straight when I'm still bouncing around from today's news---YEYYYYYYY! Capn' go ahead ON with your badself and no it's not bad form (you do have both hands and no hook right?), as long as it's done in a friendly manner and not condescending (that last part was for people who need to be taught diplomacy rather than just tellin somebunny, well if you did this and you did that and they basically rip your write to shreds and smithereens until their own version of excellence changes any thought you may have presented and mind you all of this is done in the interest of making you a better writer! Goodness, I found a button I think........... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

MsWhip would seem to be a fitting moniker for MsWiz when she "is in da mood for a little confrontation...."(Smackwater Jack, credits to Carole King)
