I don't know about those types of experiences...lol. I prefer a man my age or older simply because they tend to have enough life experience to have matured to my level.

i don't think it's a matter of how long you've been single at all as to whether women date younger.

mostly, i'd say it was a choice. some ladies like them young, some like them old, with some age isn't a factor.

if you aren't interested in older women, i'd make mention of it in your profile and perhaps set the email filters to prevent them from contacting you (if you're only here for dating that is)

The first time I ever slept with a man that was older then me, was when I was 18, and trust me it was not because I was lonely. It was because the chemistry was there. Chuck was about twice my age. And ever since him, I have preferred older men.

But meh, that is just me.

I don't think 'single for a long time' has anything to do with it.

34% of women 40+ are dating younger guys .. like 10-15 yrs (& more) younger.

It's a growing trend hon. I know for me it's just about thinking a generation younger. Guys my age are in a different mindset than I am.

And it's not just about the older women enjoying the ride. The younger guys are allll about the older sexy women.
It's not for everyone but certainly for a lot.

That doesn't mean you have to be part of it. LOL

If they ask you how old do I look be careful how you answer. I mess up on answering that question last night. I thought she acted very mature so I guessed 46. Come to find out she was 32.

My sister is 44 and is dating someone who is 28. They seem to be really good for each other. She used to always date someone her age or older and they treated her like crap. They never wanted to go do anything. Stuck in their old fashion ways. Maybe young guys bring the fun back with being up for anything. That is what she says on the subject.

Age is not a factor in the short term but in a long term relation if there is a big age gap then it will make a difference.

I've had my neighbor boy hit on me for 3 years and one of the MAIN reasons I haven't given him a second thought is because he IS immature!

i think a big age gap will be a problem only if the two people involved with each other allow it to be.

if it works for them, it works for them.

Never said it was impossible just meant to say that it might make a difference in the long run, not everybody ages (maturity wise) at the same rate.

actually i think age can be a factor(good or bad) cause alot of threads about this issue seem to appear on here. so by the answers that i've seen and posted i can say its up to the individuals preference and experiences

I stopped caring about age when I realized it was irrelevant.
