a dachsund named "lady". she was a great dog, sweet, funny, playful. no other dog has come close, which is probably why i like cats better now. of all the cats we had, "fat cat" ruled... awwww I too have a soft spot for the kitties meowwwwwww |

pet you had in your childhood and why was it your favorite? It was my one and only pet. She was a white cat and some mean boys killed her.

a dachsund named "lady". she was a great dog, sweet, funny, playful. no other dog has come close, which is probably why i like cats better now. of all the cats we had, "fat cat" ruled... awwww I too have a soft spot for the kitties meowwwwwww fat cat was great. he wandered into our basement when i was 8. lady went after him, he took a chunk out of her nose, and they were best friends for 4 years before he passed. he was already old when he adopted us, but looked like he could pull a house off it's foundation. |

i had a collie from kindergarten-hs grad he always followed me around, slept in my bed for 13 years....he would only listen to me That is so cool....I had a spitz chow also growing up...I was out of school for a week when we lost Countdown.....His name comes from my dad doing all the Mariner and Apollo launches....and doing the countdown...lol |

My favorites growing up were an English Setter named Bessie and a Thoroughbred named Apple.

A black female lab/mix named "Julie". She was very sweet and intelligent. I got her as a puppy because I was walking home from school one day and these mean older boys were trying to bury her in a pit with a shovel! I took her home and luckily my mom let me keep her because of that.

My sheep dog named PUFFER. He was awesome.... lived to be 14
