It's simple, really. Most people don't like to hear the truth anymore. They've become so acclimated to the Political Correctness movement that unless you agree with them or coddle them, you're against them, and everything is a personal attack. I won't do it. I admit, I'm extremely blunt, but I'm not gonna apologize just for hurting somebody's little feelers. Grow a backbone and deal with it.

I welcome a dissenting opinion! It seems to me that getting different perspectives and hopefully learning something new is a good thing!!! |

half the time people don't want to admit they are simply wrong... I'm so perfect I'm never wrong.. Or they don't think outside the box. Where in fact.. It may just not of been something they thought of before or learned before.Which in case goes back to intelligence.. For a intelligent person always strives to learn new things
 except typing or changing oil in a car

I think a lot of it is simply ego driven. Even when people know they don’t have a leg to stand on they will go through the motions of argument continuation. That’s when it’s just easier to ridicule them.
