A few months we go to the same school, but we've never actually met. She always seems to be crushing on new guys all the time and right now seems to like someone who is already taken. I have a really good connection with her, and she always tells me how cute and sweet I am. I think i'm starting to really like her because she likes the same type of music as me and loves it when I just say random songs to her (and obviously other reasons). I told her when we go back to school next week we should hang out, but how can I tell her I want more than friendship? I'm not ruling it out because shes shown interest before and constantly flirts with me and used to text me non stop, and actually texted me to tell me why she signed off the computer. So, what exactly should I do to try and escalate this?

In a word, don't. It's obvious the girl's a tease and only out there for the attention. Even if you DID manage to hook up with the girl, chances are she'll just use you up like a "fo'ty" of King Cobra.

Honestly, Andrew, ask the girl out. I know rejection could take place but remember...IF she rejects a date...that doesn't mean she thinks any less of you as a person. Ultimately, we desire to date because we want to share our lives with someone. If the gal says, "No." It only means she was not the one who would bring the most joy to your life at this time.

Look in other threads you already said this girl was into the same music as you. Snag some nice concert tickets, to a good show and test the waters, go big or go home.
