My own personal bad boy with a Haley and a curfew. I want a man who likes to cuddle and who doesn't mind beating up any other man who tries cuddling with me. I want a nice bad boy. Personally I don't believe nice guys finish last, at least not with me. I only made the thread to introduce myself. I figured a chat topic was better than just saying "hi, I want a man." It's largely a terminology thing. There have been approximately 42,881 "Why don't girls like nice guys?" threads in the forums -- always posted by a self-proclaimed "nice guy" who can't seem to get anywhere -- in the 2 years I've been here. The backlash has been that a lot of people have a negative, knee-jerk reaction to the term "nice guy." Since there's never been any sort of clear-cut definition, or explanation of what it really means (let's face it, it's pretty subjective), and because the topic has become so repetitive, the trendy thing has become to equate "nice" with "boring" and "bland" and "totally uninteresting." It isn't that "nice guys" are bad, or don't deserve attention. It's just that, here, anyway, they have tended to come across as a bit on the whiny and needy side. And I think that's created a bit of a stigma. |

Do many women even refer to themselves as nice women? You don't see the "waaah I'm a nice girl and I don't know why I finish last" kind of threads really.

"waaah....last" I was going to make that the title of this thread but I was afraid no one would believe me and I was afraid some would think I was mocking. In truth, I was just trying to get attention in a funny and non threatening or controversial way. |

It's a great target for satire -- I do it quite a bit myself. I started a huge thread a few days ago called "Arrogant Narcissistic Conceited Jerks Thread," as a counterpoint to the "nice guy" stuff. I think it was cathartic for any number of people. ("Two" is a number, right?) Next I am going to ask why men don't write anything in their profiles. My first op on mingle. I was trying to think of something great but instead I'm going for a simple chat topic. I figured it's best not to pick a controversial subject as my first op. If nice guys finish last then the bad boys must finish first. Where do the nice ladies and bad girls finish?
