Topic: There should be a law | |

I was waiting at a red light this morning behind one car. The light turned green and the driver of the car in front of me was so intent on picking his nose that he never noticed. I lightly beeped the horn once, but no luck. He finally saw the now yellow light and made it through. No such luck for yours truly.
There are many different ticketable offenses in NY including a fifty dollar fine for having an air freshener hanging from your rearview mirror. Texting and talking on cell phones while driving have been made illegal here due to the distraction they create. I say make nosepicking illegal for drivers!!! What say you? |

What say you? Where I live, it's clear that "green means go" is not yet understood as an actual driving instruction. The light turns green, they sit. Or they will actually STOP when they come to a green light. I see this every day. I believe that perhaps these people come from other cultures in which "go" is symbolized by a brown star or a silver parallelogram or something. They are waiting for the more familiar colors and shapes to show up. |

Aren't there enough laws already. You want to give them anouther reason to pull you over.
