If you want to know if he's a nice guy, watch how he treats his mother

Have you ever outright told the girl that you are "trying to win" that you are a nice guy and not like all the others?

I've been talking to someone who said this to me and it's not something that I've had said to me before. He also went on to explain why he is different from "the others".

Whats your take on this? Could he be legit or just full of $hit?

He's trying to convince you he is something he is not.flowerforyou

The problem with just saying " what he thinks " is....doing that could cause him to live a life in the doghouse. Most guys are smart enough that, when a woman asks " does this make me look fat? ", he is NOT going to say what he thinks. He's gonna say what he knows she wants to hear.

Au contraire some women like to set a nice guy up with this nonsense. Why beats the hell out of me. I think most of us wants that proverbial mixture, since there is no true nice guy nor is there a true nice girl. We are normal.

I personally don't want a parrot in a partner telling me what I want to hear I can buy that. I want the real thing.

OP... Take it slow when someone tells you they are a nice guy ask yourself does he think I am stupid I wouldn't be able to figure that out on my own.

Ask yourself this, if he told you he was a real jerk, would you believe him? I'll never understand people who run around calling themselves "nice guys" and "very attractive" and "lots of fun." Trust me, if you're dating someone who has those traits, you will figure it out soon enough. I've never been a fan of the guy who pats himself on the back, I think that should be my job. JMO

there is the truth of the matter... men can be nice or bad or both same with women its our nature... and yes If I was asked by a woman "do I look fat in this dress" she will get the truth nothing less from me. don't ask if you don't want to hear the truthful answer.. I say.

It is something that can be legit but it can also be used just as a line to pull you in. Don't just fall for it. Make him work for it and prove it first but be suttle and not exactly showing you are trying to make him prove it

I really only say something if she talks about how someone mistreated her and I usually just say I'd treat you better. I never claim to be a better person because who am I to judge a persons value?

Hey, 92% of the profiles I read say "I'm not like anybody else you ever met." Then they write the exact same things that are on every other profile.

"I'm not like anybody else" is what they want you to THINK. The way I see it, if I have to TELL you, I'm not doing a very good job of SHOWING it.
