You're fighting a losing battle on this subject. Trust me. I know all too well. So true. Last time I was rummaging through another site (which will remain mercifully unnamed) for "One Glorious Profile" material, I must have seen 50 profiles of women claiming they had a great "sence of humor." And none of them wants to get involved with "loosers" either. |

Here's another one I've seen lately from a lot of folks who want to appear intelligent:
Mute: (in this context) Silent (The man was mute). Moot: Purely academic (A moot point). |
|
|
|
One of my new favorites from One Glorious Profile:
"I am looking for some one who is motivating, exciting, clean, optomistic and uplifting, admiralableI" ....kind of lost its structural integrity right at the end there.... |
|

|
admiralable
*salutes, just because it sounds important* |

I've always enjoyed receiving the emails that
read along the lines of; "wut u luk lik". What was even more amusing, is that "Crudla the Cavewoman" sent nude pics of herself with that initial email on another site. |

What about their, there and they're? What about the to too! and two??? LOl Whenever you can replace to/too with the word "also" then you should use too. |

Well, at least I'm not seeing "like" as every other word. It must have lost popularity when they didn't want to type it repeatedly.
LOL |

We should keep this post going and keep adding new ones as we encounter them... What a list we could accumulate... and what laughs!

And then of course, there's the battle between "meet" & "meat"...

Something that bugs the ever-lovin' sh!t outta me:
"A lot" and "no one" are both TWO WORDS, NOT ONE!!! You don't watch "amovie", you don't drive "acar", you don't get "adrink", so why would you do anything "alot"? "Noone"....are you talking about Peter Noone, from Herman's Hermits, or what? |

Here's the one that drives me bonkers: "It seem's I saw two dog's chewing on bone's over by the tree's." Or when they write it "do'nt" or "ca'nt." Third grade wasn't really THAT hard, was it? |
