I dumped a guy recently, because he could not get over the fact that I DON'T lick my Q-tips before cleaning my ears. The discussion went on too long, and he really thought I had committed a crime. Like my parents didn't raise me right. Anyone one else lick their Q-Tips? Is this the relationship requirement that I am missing? Someone help me please. A woman that actually cleans her ears???  Impressive...

i have put water on mine and squeeze out excess water to remove mascara and eyeliner on the bottom lashes or makeup remover lotion on the qtip..... never before i cleaned my ears lol and never licked it lol

I'm a big fan of licking but Q-Tips are not on my list.

I use q-tips after every shower to dry inside my ears, and clean out where a wash cloth cant reach. I can't understand what the point of licking them first would be. Cotton works better dry.

You're really not supposed to use anything in your ears because it pushes the wax down and then plugs up...

Stupid arguements like that are usually an excuse to get someone mad enough to split up with you. I have discovered it's a popular technique, so they can claim to be the victim. |

If you need to wipe a little smudge of mascara...lick away :) If you need to clean your ears...well isn't half the point of a Qtip to DRY the water out of your ears?
