Now I know this is not usualy a popular subject with people, but for those of you who like them, lets talk about them. Whats your favorit system, whats your favorit game, what types of games do you play? Lets just be nerd in here, let loose and get personal about the past time.

I usually stick to FPS or action games. I'm playing Resident Evil 4 now. Before that I was playing F.E.A.R.. And I'll play Counter-Strike every now and then.
Favorite System - Now that's a tough one. I do love my Dreamcast though.
Favorite Game - Metal Gear Solid 3 (Totally epic story)

I like playing videogames even though when I last sold my PS2 a few years ago I never ment for it to take me this long to get another system but when I do get a new one I plan on getting a Playstation 3.

I'm mostly into WWE Wrestling games. Plus NBA and NHL games as well. I will try and play other games but I mostly play the wrestling videogames.

Hmm, I've never been into the sports games. I figure if I want to play a sport I will go outside and just play it. I find them kind of hipocritical. Racing games are an exception though, thats not just somthing you can go outside and do...legaly anyways.

That's one game I don't care for which is racing games.

Although I've played a racing game a time or two but that's it.

lol besides I can't go out side and just wrestler with my self that would be kinda tough to do. Baskteball and hockey the same way but although I could do either basketball or hockey and play them out side but I would need more people and the space too.

Well start a community group. I'm sure other people would love to get out and play. Thats actualy a great activity to get into, community stuff. I do things like that somtimes...whe I'm not gaming, lol.

I prefer Nintendo systems and the fantasy-like games. Sony systems are overrated in my opinion and most of the games are boring. (Who really cares that much about sports games? Unless it's a Mario sport game of course...) I'm not partial to the Xbox either due to the large amount of sports and shooter games.

I mean, when it comes down to it, Nascar *insert year here* sucks compared to a game of Mario Kart. =\ Same applies for fighters, I'd rather play Smash Bros. because of the better character choice and overall freedom/adaptability.

Yeah well, I am in prefrance of Xbox because (1) it is under a reliable producer, microsoft. (2) It has the largest game selection out of all other systems. I mean I like Mario, its great, but once they started doing all the other spin offs...I kinda got anoyed. It beggins to lack a story line.
I am a FPS guy, I will admit it. I like it though because I feel more in the game, it feels more realistic.
My favorit Game though is Half Life, now there is a story line, one of the best I have every played. There is alot of background and future to it. I love it. Crowbars are for nerds, Chainsaws are for Marines. Hahahaha

Best game ever: Eve Online. For PC's and now for Mac's too.

my favorite game of all time had to be duck hunter for the nintendo lol. i love the orange and grey gun.

Starcraft...now that brings back memories, first online game I ever played. Then came the diablos and just snowballed from there, been gameing ever since.

im a WoW player atm but my favorite mmo was always shadowbane...the pvp in that game was just so godly. fav platform game tho would have to be smash bros for gamecube... a great community for the game too

i rly like playing final fantasy games (especially 5, 7, 8, and 10) the sony systems were virtuous. i also love the silent hill series.

so basically anything with a gripping story line.

I stick to my PC.
There is software that allows PCs to play any game system's game as long as it is on a DVD or CD so game system does not matter since my PC specs are in excess of what the best game systems have to offer.

My preferred games are:
DOOM I II and III
Duke Nukem 1 2 and 3D (I love the classics as well!)
X Wing vs. TIE Fighter
Heroes of Might and Magic 1 2 and 3
Civilization III
Baulder's Gate
Diablo
Pacific Fighter

I use DOS BOX to play old DOS games on my PC like Duke Nukem.
I also like the arcade classics like Dig Dug, Xevious, Star Castle, Defender, Tempest, Centipede, ETC.

I'm not exactly impressed with SPORE. It has room for improvement so I am not completely unimpressed with it. It is too high priced and seems derivative of some off beat games I found on majorgeeks.com.
