Its no wonder Israel will not let in any media to document. Looks like Israel doesnt even believe in the freedom of the press.

Or maybe Israel is tired of her sons and daughters being slaughtered everytime some fanatic and a homemade bomb destorys a bus or cafe.

Or maybe the daily average of 100+ 122mm wide rockets being haphazardly rained into Isreali cities has something to do with the counter-offensive!

Bring on the Israel has no right or shouldn't even be a country rants. Wholesale terrorism generally gains a violent response.

Ok I will. You see Israel as the villian here. I see Israel as defending its populace.

Your quote "Its no wonder Israel will not let in any media to document. Looks like Israel doesnt even believe in the freedom of the press."
Is in my view one sided propaganda. Plenty of news outlets are covering the incursion.

Because just like the Leb-Israeli war two years ago Israel will pull out of Gaza when it determines the mission objectives are complete. Remember Israel de-occupied the Strip several years ago. And paved the way for more rocket and terror attacks. A move that strengthed the Hamas terrorist group.

What you view as "propaganda" others may well view as the facts. Lets try to deviate from the talking points please.

Fact, No media is admited. You have to ask yourself why. Its simply because they only wish one side of the story to get out, THEIRS. so buy it hook line and sinker or seek out other sources. I know what a thinking man would do.

550 dead is hardly comparable to genocide. Sorry I even got started in here. But let me ask you. Every night a kid breaks into your home and smashes your T.V. and hits your kid. Do continue to allow him to get away with it? Regardless of what you think about the political situation, I can not blame Israel for attacking after Hamas broke the cease fire agreement.

Tell me hows the Kool-aid in Blame western Democracy land.

Yes its awful that civilians die in war. Its awful that a few people would cause a war in which innocents die. However keep in mind that people on both sides are living and dieing in fear on a daily basis.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
--John Stuart Mill (1806-1873)

That conflict is a family feud since the time of Abraham, its been going on for thousands of years. Believe me, it ain't going to be settled now. Who's right, who's wrong no longer matters. The cruelty of the war is the loss of life. Neither side really worries about the children. The terrorists believe that Martyrdom is an honour and guarantees a spot in heaven. Therefore sending in 12 & 13 yr. old children as suicide bombers to fight their battles for them is doing the child a favor. If they are responsible for making the child a martyr, they did good. If that same child by some act of defense by the israeli dog it is heinous. This world is crazy, and people are crazy for defending either side. Look at Iraq, another bad case, where the US stepped in for the good of the people and help prevent civil wars. Now, American soldiers are fired upon by both sides.

Not entirely accurate. Israel pulled it's military and civilian presence from Gaza but still held control over the area's access, power, water, food and medical supplies, and finances. IDF troops/Security forces also march in at will.

You don't need to be feet on the ground to 'occupy'. Just need to control what goes in and out. Making the Gaza in effect one large refugee camp/prison.

they have a border with egypt also. israel justifiably
needs to try to prevent arms smuggling and bomber attacks
so they must have oversight as to who and what enters
and leaves the territories. they don't prevent peaceful
activities but it is unreasonable to expect israel not to
monitor for anti-israeli activities given the history of
violence coming out of gaza.

Kassams, Katushyas/Grads, bus bombs etc. whoa

israel's monitoring activity is not collective punishment,
or starvation or prison.

The media did a nice spin job on the blockade they did such a good job most people do not know about it. The held back medicines, food fuel, etc etc and then when Hamas retaliates viola they are the bad guys. Shame shame on the propagandists

Hamas is pure as the driven snow. They did nothing wrong.
It is perfectly fine for them to shoot missiles at homes.
Bus bombings? Cafe Bombings? Market bombings?
Teaching hate? All purely innocent! Shame on all of you
for suggesting that this is somehow inappropriate
activities. It is a hardship...a HARDSHIP I tell you for
these people to live everyday with a CHECKPOINT at the
border!! No one in the US would TOLERATE checkpoints
with Canada or Mexico! Can you imagine being SEARCHED
whenever you enter or exit your own country? OR when
you just wanted to travel in your OWN country...like
when you get on a plane just to travel from Wisconsin
to Washington DC to visit the White House?

IMAGINE the SHAME of it. Naturally, they bomb people!
